Some of you are on the Climate Action Now (CAN) phone app, which makes it easy to send prewritten constituent or customer letters to various power centers in the US.

To help save ENERGY STAR, would you please take Campaign 186 on the app, to perform the below Actions?  Each of the six should take about a minute.

The six Actions in Campaign 186 will send these prewritten letters, in your name:

 – Urge your federal representatives to stand up for the ENERGY STAR program (3 targets)

 – Urge major companies that have previously defended ENERGY STAR to fight for it again (3 targets)

 – Urge more major companies that previously defended ENERGY STAR to fight for it again (3 targets)

 – Urge utility trade associations to fight for ENERGY STAR (2 targets)

 – Urge your state representatives to stand up for ENERGY STAR (3 targets)

 – Tell the EPA to preserve the ENERGY STAR program (1 target)

1) When you open the app, you will see “Campaigns” in the upper right of the first screen).  Click on that word.

2) It will take you to a list of many campaigns.  In the upper right you will see “campaign ID #.”  Click on that phrase.

3) At the window on the next screen. input “186.” That will take you to the six ENERGY STAR Actions.  Perform them one at a time.
