Celebrate the Sun with us!

Hey, we’re throwing a party! Sun Day is September 21st and is a
nationwide celebration of the power of the sun to bring abundance to every American
(actually, every living being!). These terawatts of energy are streaming down from space
every day and reach everyone, without any corporate middleman taking a cut. We’re
building the energy revolution out from under the heavy hand of the fossil fuel industry.
Let’s celebrate this!


There will be gatherings in 100’s of towns and cities across the country, and we have
stepped up to host a party here in Santa Cruz. We’ll hold this celebration at Mission Plaza Park from noon to 5 p.m. It will be a joyful celebration, with live
music and kids and adults sun art activities, exhibits of solar and battery gadgets, and
tables of information for people interested in solar, EV, batteries, microgrids,
electrification, and all things renewable, with a special focus on sun-powered solutions. 


We figure we can pull this off with $4000. We’re starting from scratch. Any donation
you can make will get us closer to covering our costs that include the permit fees, stage
and chairs, porta potties, etc.
