New research on the effect of clouds on Climate Change indicate that the climate is even more sensitive to increased CO2 than was thought. A factor called the Equilibrium Climate Sensitivity (ECS) represents how much the temperature will increase when the CO2 levels at 560 ppm – double the pre industrial age level. ECS has been assumed to be 3degC or lower but this new work indicates it may be 5 degC. BAD NEWS!
